This Xylitol cookbook is a great collection of recipes, how to use xylitol in daily baking, and much more. This is a must have for the health conscious consumer, baker, or anyone that wants to use Xylitol in the kitchen.

I was hoping for recipes to use the coconut palm sugar..as well what about stuff that is not a dessert?

I have not tried any of the recipes yet, but I have looked through them and there are a lot of really nice recipes. They are all dessert recipes, though, which may be kind of a given (being Xylitol is a sugar substitute), but I was expecting more direction/help in general for using Xylitol in baking and cooking. But it is a great tool for using Xylitol.

I'm glad for suggestions how to use xylitol, and (in the introduction)
very precise instructions on the few instances where you cannot
use xylitol as a substitute for sugar (like yeast breads).

I was really intrigued by this book - I wanted to see just how some favourite recipes could be made 'healthier'.
The recipes do require some specialty ingredients, that are not always readily available in regular grocery stores.
Nonetheless, I look forward to trying some of the recipes for my family.
